Cykl World Shorts to autorski projekt Fundacji Edukacji Kulturalnej Ad Arte, mający na celu przybliżenie polskiemu widzowi krótkometrażowej twórczości wybranych narodowych kinematografii. Dotychczas odbyły się pokazy filmów z takich krajów jak Portugalia, Grecja, Islandia, Szwecja i Dania. Każdorazowo, trwający około 90 minut program dobierany jest tak, aby jak najpełniej pokazać specyfikę wybranej kultury, towarzyszącego jej społecznego krajobrazu oraz temperamentu mieszkańców danego kraju. World Shorts silnie współpracuje z zagranicznymi instytutami, ambasadami, festiwalami a także i z lokalnymi animatorami kultury. Pokazy odbywają się w niezależnych miejscach na terenie całego kraju - w kinach, galeriach czy klubokawiarniach.
World Shorts is a project of Foundation for Cultural Education Ad Arte and its idea is to show the best representatives of European short cinematography to the Polish audience. Until now, there have already been screenings of Portuguese, Greek, Icelandic, Swedish and Danish programmes. Each approx. 90 mins long programme is created to fully represent the characteristics of the nation’s culture: its social landscape and temper of the people. World Shorts strongly cooperates with foreign institutes, embassies, festivals and also with the local animators of culture. The screenings take place in the most in dependent Polish venues-off cinemas, clubs, art galleries.
